Edward Linsin
Edward Linsin is the founding partner of Linsin, Sherman Associates - a premier provider of real estate Errors & Omissions (E & O) insurance for both medium and large residential real estate brokerages in California.
Following his schooling at Cathedral High Preparatory and Marian College in Indiana, Linsin served with the United States Army, first as a lieutenant with the 11th Airborne and the 24th Infantry in Germany, then as a captain and company commander of the Army Officer School at Fort Benning, Georgia.
After military service, Linsin joined Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a business lines salesman. In 1968 he joined the national insurance brokerage firm of Johnson and Higgins where he was a vice president, account executive, and department manager of the San Francisco office.
In 1991, Linsin and Standish Sherman - formerly the director of insurance for Chevron Corporation - founded Linsin, Sherman Associates. They dedicated it's exclusive practice to the residential real estate brokerage community in California.
Today, Linsin continues as the principal of the firm.

Senior Broker
Tom grew up in the Almaden Valley area of San Jose, California. He attended Archbishop Mitty High School and continued his education at Sonoma State University.
After earning his degree in Business, he persued a career in teaching and earned a California High School Teaching Credential. Tom was a teacher for over 4-years. Tom also coached Varsity Baseball at Casa Grande High School in Petaluma, where they won 5 League titles and 4 NCS Championships.

Tom began his career as an insurance broker, working as an intern for Linsin, Sherman Associates in 2002. In 2003, Tom joined Linsin, Sherman Associates full-time and has been here ever since. Currently, Tom is the Senior Broker at the firm and serves over 300 clients.
Tom is a devoted and proud husband/father to his Wife (Deanna), Daughter (Peyton), and Son (J.T.)

Beatrice Linsin
Beatrice Linsin, has been associated with the firm since it was founded in 1991.
Following her schooling in Kansas, she worked in the insurance industry all of her adult life; to include being Ed Linsin's Administrative Assistant at Johnson & Higgins.
"My position at Linsin & Sherman includes responsibility for accounting (receivables and payables), policy expiration controls, and management of the office."
